Air Dried Oak Is a highly dense durable material suitable for both interior and exterior joinery projects.

Common uses: Kingpin Trusses, Porch Canopy structures, Pergolas and garden structures, beams and many other uses.

Air Dried Oak is oak that has been air dried over a number of years to give enhanced stability in comparison with Green Oak. The timber will still have a high moisture content (moisture content is subject to the nature of the section). It will have surface splits and checks, further splits and cracking may occur during the natural drying process. It is a Light yellow/brown colour but may be a silver/darker colour due to the air-drying process, if the timber is sanded back it will bring up the original colour.
